"(...) The sixth edition of the EURES report on labour market imbalances explore the current status of labour shortages and surpluses and how they have evolved over time. Since the first report, published in 2016, much of the methodology for identifying labour shortages and surpluses has remained unchanged The structure of the report, however, has undergone considerable change in the past two years. The primary source of the data on labour market imbalances continues to be the EURES National Coordination Offices (NCOs), complemented by other quantitative and qualitative sources. In addition, this edition of the report brings some innovations by including specific analyses from a sector perspective
(i.e. the construction sector), a more in-depth exploration of the role of intra-EU labour mobility and migration and insights from five countries of the EURES network. (...)"
